Some people search for the perfect home, others for the perfect mate. Many people search for for buried treasure on the beaches with their electronic gismos and others search for the best pasta sauce recipe. Myself and every woman I know search for the same thing…the perfect mascara.
I know I am not alone in saying that I have at least 3 to 6 mascara tubes “operating” at the same time. This one is waterproof and lengthening. This one is thickening and non smudge. This one is supposed to thicken and lengthen but it’s hugely expensive and is a terror to remove without sacrificing same of the remaining lashes I have left! Oh to be able to have everything I want in a mascara and only use ONE would be a wish fulfilled.
If there was a wish list that every woman on the planet would have for a mascara it would look something like this: I wish it would be easy to use. I wish it would make my lashes look fuller. I wish it would be buildable so I can have options for lash thickness. I wish wouldn’t flake off. I wish it wouldn’t smudge under my eyes (adding to my inherited dark circles) I wish it wasn’t harmful to my lashes. I wish it was easy to remove.
I know from personal experience that is certainly my wish list when it comes to the never-ending quest for the perfect mascara. I have spent the last 42 years of my life on this quest…
Yes, I know you are doing the math in your head as you read this, so I will save you the trouble. I am 55 years old BUT I don’t look it and it was NOT my accident, it was by design. I can honestly say if I see a mascara commercial somewhere or an ad in the magazine, I always think to myself “Is this THE ONE?” The perfect mascara that does all the things on my wish list?
